Watch Whever launch on stage here.
This interview with Whever founders Mireille Bobbert, Lukas Batteau, Tamara Rigoni, and Bob van Kan (left to right) was conducted by the Job Portraits team during the LAUNCH Festival.
Tell us what your company is and what you do.
Whever gets all your friends there on time. It's a fun, gamified way to solve the problem of people arriving late, which is very annoying.
And how did you guys pick this problem?
It started during college, when there was a friend who always arrived late. We just wanted to come up with a cool solution.
How has it been here at LAUNCH Festival?
We’ve met so many cool people. We’ve gotten great feedback and already met some investors. Other than that, the drinks are great, the food is great, all the parties are great, so we’re happy.
And what's next for you guys?
We're going back to Holland — we’re from there. There we'll launch the app in April for iOS, and Android will follow in May or June.
